Women’s Ministry

Changing Hearts, Changing Lives, One Girlfriend at a Time.

We believe that every woman has incredible influence in her family and on those around her.

In the gospels, we find that some of the closest disciples of Jesus were women, and that He valued them beyond measure and chose to use women for His own purposes and plan.

Our heart is for every woman to know God in a deeper way, whether married or single. Our desire is that every woman can know the unique way that God has called her to serve Him as a sister, a wife, a mother, a daughter, and a friend.

Meeting Times

Tuesday Evening Bible Study at 6:30 pm

Choices, choices, choices!  Options, options, options!  Whether you are available Tuesday, Wednesday, or Sunday, we have a small group for you.  Want to grow deeper in your knowledge of scripture?   Kathi Orr facilitates the discussion with the women after they've spent the week studying prior to watching a video by Beth Moore.   Participants are going through the book of James using a study called James:  Mercy Triumphs.  Books are available in the church office. 

Wednesday Evening Bible study at 6:00 p.m

Wednesday evening Bible studies meet seasonally and will resume in the fall of 2012. 

Special Events...a SeaSide Escape!

Imagine walking along the beach, sand between your toes, listening to the timeless sound of the waves rushing in and out...sound great?  Then join us for a "day at the beach!"  Women of all ages will enjoy this day away as we look at the story of Abraham and Sarah from a unique perspective.  We'll focus on relationships, so bring your friends and come prepared for a great time with music, food, small group time, and even some crafts. 

$20 registration fee includes continental breakfast, lunch and all program materials. Pre-registration is required, so contact Janie or Karen.  They'll be glad to answer any questions you have.
