Worship Ministry
It is our desire to “give thanks to the Lord because of His righteousness and sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High” (Psalms 7:17). God commands us to “Sing to the LORD, you saints of his; praise his holy name” (Psalms 30:4). Words of praise and worship fill the Scriptures.
We reflect Jesus by:
- worshipping the Lord through song and hymn singing.
- worshipping the Lord through vocal and instrumental praise.
Emmanuel Baptist Church’s Worship team is a group of musicians from all walks of life who join together for the purpose of giving glory to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by:
- leading in song and musical worship anytime here on campus.
The Music Ministry at Emmanuel Baptist Church will strengthen families by:
- allowing and encouraging families to serve together in this ministry.
Musical families tend to serve together in churches because of their loyalty to one another as family members, and because most talent is inherited.
As a body of musicians, we will encourage service together as families by:
- strengthening the family unit which will encourage a stronger loyalty to the music ministry as families serve together within the church.
The Music Ministry here at Emmanuel Baptist Church will serve the community with:
- seasonal activity during the course of the year.
- presentations that involve the whole church and community body.
- presentations that give the church the opportunity to invite the community at large to our church thereby hearing the Word in song and in speech.
