Michael Goodwin

Michael became the Senior Pastor of Emmanuel in January of 2022. He is passionate about Jesus, his family, the church, and Tucson, Arizona. He has been married to his wife, Desiree, for 15 years and she also serves in full time ministry. Together they have 3 children, two of whom are adults. Michael worked in the technology sector for 20 years which included working in two startups companies where he was in management. He holds a degree in Semiconductor Manufacturing and Business Management. He went into full-time ministry in 2019 and has never looked back. For 28 years Michael has served in short-term missions, leading and overseeing small groups, as an itinerate preacher, and was a worship leader. Michael wants others to authentically know Jesus and help them grow in their faith.
Ariel "Ari" Barrera

Ari is our Worship Ministries Director, is a joy to be around, and has a heart for serving the community. He's a loving husband, father, and dog dad. He grew up in Tucson but has been able to live in different areas from coast to coast. He desires to raise up musicians and vocalists to lead and foster a worship culture that reaches multiple generations. He has a genuine heart for God and people!
Dorothea Zinn

Dorothea moved to Tucson in 2003 following 18 years of service at New Mexico State University. God called her to Emmanuel, and in 2007, she became a full-time staff member at the church. Dorothea has one child and one grandchild that she loves spending time with who also live in Tucson. Dorothea's passion is working and ministering to the homeless community and she is also involved in her neighborhood community that's located around the church. She keeps us the church on track and things running smoothly!
Josie Tremblay

Josephine Tremblay is our part time Finance and HR Administrator. She joined us in 2022 following a long-standing career in Pharmacy. Josephine is also a trained Chaplain and Whole Person life coach and she is passionate in helping all people in becoming more whole and free. She is married to her husband Aaron who serves on staff in a local church. Together they have two beautiful girls and enjoy learning and growing together.
