Michael Goodwin

Michael became the Senior Pastor of Emmanuel in January 2022. He is passionate about Jesus, his family, the church, and the city of Tucson, Arizona. Michael has been married to his wife, Desiree, for 18 years; she also serves in full-time ministry. They have three children, including two adults. Before ministry, Michael spent 20 years in the technology sector, including management roles at two startup companies. He holds degrees in Semiconductor Manufacturing and Business Management. In 2019, he transitioned to full-time ministry and hasn’t looked back as he pursues Gods calling on his life. Over the past 31 years, Michael has served in various capacities, including short-term missions, leading small groups, itinerant preaching, and worship leading. His heart is to help others authentically know Jesus and grow in their faith and has a passion for effectively preaching God's word.
eric Hoeg
Student & Young Adult Pastor

Eric Hoeg became the Youth and Young Adults Pastor at Emmanuel in August 2024. A Navy veteran, he served for 4 years, Eric holds a BA in Youth and Family Ministries and a Master of Divinity. His background includes roles in church ministry, food service, and military security, including time as a team lead at Chick-fil-A and a part-time Children’s Director. Eric has been married to Emily for 8 years; she is a Christian elementary teacher and currently an art teacher at Desert Christian. They have two children, Evangeline and Oliver. Eric is excited for his first full-time ministry role, aiming to help youth and young adults at Emmanuel deepen their relationship with God. He is passionate about Jesus and equipping young people.
Dorothea Zinn

Dorothea moved to Tucson in 2003 following 18 years of service at New Mexico State University. God called her to Emmanuel, and in 2007, she became a full-time staff member at the church. Dorothea has one child and one grandchild that she loves spending time with who also live in Tucson. Dorothea's passion is working and ministering to the homeless community and she is also involved in her neighborhood community that's located around the church. She keeps us the church on track and things running smoothly!
Josie Tremblay
Human Resources & Church Administrator
Josephine Tremblay is our part time HR and Church Administrator. She joined us in 2022 following a long-standing career in Pharmacy. Josephine is also a trained Chaplain and Whole Person life coach and she is passionate in helping all people in becoming more whole and free. She is married to her husband Aaron who serves on staff in a local church. Together they have two beautiful girls and enjoy learning and growing together.
